Product Spotlight on: QP DPR-11 Deep Remoisturizer

A mistake I find many of us with knappy hair make, is to neglect the moisture levels in our strands. ALL curly hair is dry.

Whether the curls are loose and fine or tight and thick, straightened with a flat iron or a relaxer, it is all naturally DRY.

Our scalp makes a natural oil called SEBUM (google it!) to counteract this dryness. This natural oil's job is to lubricate the hair strands. When you have curly hair, this natural oil cannot make its way through all of the twists and bends of the hair. This natural lubricant never makes it past the first inch or two of our hair. This leaves the rest of the strand parched and begging for attention!

This LACK of natural oil is why most knappies continues to have the same length of hair. Honey, your hair IS growing! It's just DRY as all get out, and dry hair BREAKS. It is imperative to have a GOOD daily moisturizer in your hair care arsenal.

QP DPR-11 is actually a deep conditioner. Through my experimenting, I have found it works better as a moisturizer then it does as a conditioner. The smell is sweet and it has the consistency of pudding.

You don't need to saturate your hair with product to moisturize it. Part your hair into four sections and use a dime size amount of moisturizer on each section to ensure all hair is moisturized.

This method will also prevent your hair from reverting if your hair is straightened.
too much moisture on flat-ironed hair = no more straight hair.

ok ladies, i'll continue to add Product Spotlights in future blogs. If anyone has ideas or questions, please, leave a comment!
